How to program VW 4th immo key with Lonsdor K518 and VAG OBD Helper?
Hook VAG OBD helper up to the VAG vehicle (VW, Audi, Skoda with 4th IMMO) , you can quickly get immo data within 3-5 minutes by connecting the internet ( The time depends on the network status or the number of users), which is easy to operate, help save time and avoid the risk of disassembling the dashboard.
Part 1.Use VAG OBD helper to obtain VW 4th IMMO data online
1.Using VAG OBD helper connect the vehicle
2.Click "Read car information" to read the anti-theft system and engine system information
3.Connect to the network and upload data to calculations.(Click "Online calculate immo data)
4.The immo data is calculated successfully and saved.
Part 2.Use Lonsdor K518 to program VW 4th immo key
1.Connect Lonsdor K518 to tge computer via USB cable,Click on "My computer" and choose the K518 icon as shown below:
2.Click to open it.
3.Click to open the "customfile" file and copy the VW 4th IMMO data read by the VAG OBD Helper into the file
4.Click Lonsdor K518 homepage,chosse "IMMO-VW-4th IMMO
5.Selet "Engineering mode-Make dealer key"
6.Click "OK" to make a key,the same operation as key learning.
